A brotherhood and a chance to help the community
169th Fighter Wing
July 17, 2018 | 1:14
What happens when a hundred-year-old school needs renovations, but can't afford them? Send in the South Carolina Air National Guard's 169th Civil Engineer Squadron. In just two weeks time, the Swamp Fox "Dirt Boys," as they're known, will have demolished the existing wall and concrete, poured the footers and started the structure of a ramp that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, July 17, 2018. Whatever is left undone will be completed by a follow-on group of reserve engineers. (U.S. Air National Guard video by Master Sgt. Carl Clegg) First Interview subject: Jeremy Boucher, Project Office Director, Southwest Indian Foundation. Second Interview Subject: Staff Sgt. Bradley Moore 169 Civil Engineer Squadron. Third Interview Subject: Jodi Thomas, Director, St. Francis Preschool.
