The 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron (EACS) established a new site at a Coalition airfield in Northeast Syria to support their radars that provide a constant live picture of the airspace over Operation Inherent Resolve, the NATO Resolute Support Mission and Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Known as "Kingpin", the 727th EACS is comprised of 14 career fields that are responsible for monitoring and providing vital air picture information to ensure the successful completion of assigned missions in the theater.
