200501-N-EV253-1001 ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 1, 2020) - The hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) anchors off the coast of Virginia as part of scheduled lifeboat training in accordance with US Coast Guard certification and watch keeping regulations before returning to Naval Station Norfolk. The ship and its embarked medical task force remain prepared for future tasking. The Navy, along with other U.S. Northern Command dedicated forces, remains engaged throughout the nation in support of the broader COVID-19 response.
