A flight crew and medic with the Arizona Army National Guard teamed up with Pinal County Search and Rescue Posse to rescue an injured hiker, stranded in the Superstition Mountains near Gold Canyon, Arizona, November 21, 2021.

The helicopter crew from Detachment 2, C Co 2-149th Aviation Regiment based at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, brought hoist, litter and medical capabilities to the scene, and made a complex two wheel landing at the scene of a 5,000 foot sloping ridge line.
