June 7, 2024 | 1:24
U.S. Army Soldiers with the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, the 1019th Quartermaster Company, and the 387th Quartermaster Company, along with the U.S. Marine Corps Personnel Retrieval and Processing Company, recovering hyper-realistic training aids during a qualification course as mortuary affairs specialists during the Combat Support Training Exercise at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, on June 7, 2024. CSTX 24-01 is a Combat Support Training Exercise that ensures America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and equipped at the scale and speed required to support the Joint Force, multi-domain operational environment.

During the training, Soldiers are shown how to properly recover fatalities in the field and transport them back to command and eventually back home. The U.S. Marine Corps PRP Company is the unit training the U.S. Army Soldiers, the first group of Soldiers qualified to go out and then train the next generation of Soldiers. (U.S. Army video by Spc.
