VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit's (EODMU) 2, 6, 8, and 12 and EOD Training and Evaluation Unit (EODTEU) 2 competed in the Navy EOD King Crab Competition, Aug. 13-16, 2024. Navy EOD King Crab is a four-day combat-focused military skills competition that challenges the physical and mental endurance of Navy EOD technicians, highlighting the scope of unique skillsets and capabilities. Hosted by EODGRU 2, two-person teams from East Coast based EOD units compete to win the title of best EOD operator. (U.S. Navy video by Mass Communications Specialist 2nd Class Jackson Adkins)
