Fort Cavazos and the III Armored Corps ushered in the holiday season with their annual tree lighting ceremony on December 6, 2024. U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Kevin Admiral, Commanding General of the III Armored Corps and Fort Cavazos, and U.S. Army Chaplain (Cpt.) Allen Lindholt, with the 1st Battalion, 62nd Air Defense, 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, delivered remarks, emphasizing the significance of this time-honored tradition. The event featured festive performances by the 1st Cavalry Division Band and the Meadows Elementary School Choir, filling the air with holiday cheer as the community gathered to celebrate the season.
