Hohenfels - A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to the 1st Infantry Division’s 1st Combat Aviation Brigade prepares to land in a field during exercise Allied Spirit X before conducting light, tactical, all-terrain vehicles training with Special Operations Forces in Hohenfels, Germany April 13, 2019. Approximately 5,600 participants from 15 nations, including Italian and U.S. SOF elements took part in the exercise Allied Spirit. The multinational exercise series is designed to develop and enhance NATO readiness and warfighting capabilities.
