The 7th Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy (7th Army NCOA) is the U.S. Army’s oldest NCO Academy. It is the only academy serving the European and AFRICOM Theater and employing mobile training teams (MTTs) throughout Europe and Africa. Its mission is to develop holistically fit, disciplined and confident leaders capable of building cohesive teams across the alliance to win in a joint operational environment.
The 7th Army NCOA trains U.S. and Multinational Soldiers using the Basic Leader Course curriculum from the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence. The academy is a 22-day MOS-immaterial course, which includes four phases and 169 academic hours. The academy offers 10 cycles per year, averaging 240 students per cycle.
